Sales Development Representative

Your role as a Sales Development Representative is to find and screen potential prospects who can benefit from our AP Automation Platform. You will gain a strong understanding of our sales process, excel at researching leads, start new relationships, and set our sales closers up for success.  In the process you will also become very aware of enterprise software sales and learn from proven professional in a start-up environment.

This position is for you if you are a quick learner with strong communication skills, someone that wants to be involved in Enterprise Software Sales and who is motivated to showcase our products.

What you will do:

  • Be ready to learn and grow in our Sales Department
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing prospects and finding new potential sales outlets by utilizing our CRM, cold calling, networking through LinkedIn and email campaigns
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify prospect’s needs and build with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Learn an important element of the Fintech space related to AP automation, workflow approvals and ERP integration
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our Director of Sales
  • Report to management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1-2 years software sales experience
  • AP Automation and/or Fintech Experience is helpful
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Enjoy problem-solving and wants to improve your analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to learn and advance within a sales organization
  • Experience with a CRM system is helpful
